Hello everyone,

I went here and downloaded AllVideos 2.5 for my version of Joomla (Joomla! 2.5.19).

After downloading, I went to extension - extension manager - upload package file - choose file - selected zip file of AllVideos, and clicked upload and install and I receive this: "JFolder::create: Could not create directory Path: /home/sergio Warning: Failed to move file!"

I have no idea what this means and why it won't work. I just need a video player so I can add a youtube video to my website. Please help!!!

Hi. This probably means that your server has some filesystem permissions issues. Go to "Site" -> "System Information" -> "Directory Permissions" and ensure that everything is writable there.

All are rewritable except for these:

configuration.php Unwritable
/home/sergio/Code/www/HTH/logs (Log directory) Unwritable
/home/sergio/Code/www/HTH/tmp (Temp directory) Unwritable

How can I change that so that I can install AllVideo?

You need to fix these. Are these directories valid? You can set them in global configuration. If you don't fix this you will not be able to install any extension, not just AllVideos.

I'm not sure if they are "valid" -- I don't know what that means. How would I be able to fix this?

It means that you need to check if that is the correct path to these folders.

Without a proper path for these paths Joomla! cannot function properly.

Thanks - I'm not sure how to fix that... Our website guy usually helps us but hes been super busy with work, but I'll let him know. I just screenshoted the youtube video we wanted to put in and linked it so when you click it takes you to the video... hopefully we'll get this straightened out one day! =)
