I have enabled the plugin and set the plugin parameters as in the attached. Have not so far been able to play any videos hosted locally.

So instead I created a module that should play a youtube video, but even that doesn't work. See the page here -- where actually shows the tag I used in the module, in the position where the video should be playing.

Is this plugin just not working?

I don't see the video tag on the link you provided. If you are using the Custom HTML module you need to set the "Prepare content" option of the module to "Yes".

I am having the same problem as this user. I took your advice and set the "prepare content" option of the module to yes and this made the tag disappear but the video did not appear. Now it is just a blank module.

I can get the video to show up in an article but not in a module. Please help. Thanks.

I ended up changing my global settings in the editor so Joomla wouldn't strip the iframe code so I didn't have to use AllVideo but I would like to use it in the future for other things. So I created a new module to replicate it for you but it worked fine. I guess it was some sort of fluke. Thanks for your quick response. I'll let you know if I see it again.

I donot have problems with it, i always put one or more video's in an article, even the youtube-ones and it works fine. But maybe you all have a different website then i have. I had it working in all joomla-versions from 1.5 on.

Well, i tried to show a screenshot by imgur, of the video, but that did not work.
