I love this extension and have it on numerous Joomla sites. However, I am now getting a warning about a deprecated line.

Just been down the same rabit hole and found an early post that points to a dev version which solved the problem for me github.com/joomlaworks/allvideos

Yes for the time-being you can use the DEV version.
