Many hidden links in plugin code?! was created by Eugen
Joomla! 3.7.3 Stable

Hi,
As soon as i enable the Disqus Comments (for Joomla) [by JoomlaWorks] plugin, a bunch of suspicious referring links are loaded into my site:

Checked some of those and looks like these links are spam referring to some marketing websites. Please check page example:
aahz.tk/en/feature/joomla

The plugin was downloaded from link suggested on this official page: disqus.com/admin/joomla/ which is extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension/social-web/social-comments/disqus-comments/ --> www.joomlaworks.net/extensions/free/disqus-comments-for-joomla

Please advice.

Hey there,

The links are true, although the links where not put there by us.
Just to be 100% sure I rechecked the code and there is nothing like this there. I also doubt that DISQUS would load these scripts since I checked sites using Disqus. Can you check your site on Sucuri?

Some analytics/ marketing sites include these:
tapad.com/
www.traversedata.com/
liveramp.com/applying-identitylink/arbor/

Actually, they did, these links were gone as soon as i disabled these two check-boxes on disqus site settings:

Having those enable by default is a ugly thing to do though.

Anyways, false alarm, plugin is clean, site is clean, thanks for help!
