In the front end,, my details are updating from the front end.

In my back end i did get the form of all the fields there is only fields upto description no fields are there after that in back end

Do you use any third party plugins or a different admin panel but the default?

K2 admin panel only no other adminpanels i use the icagenda component for events thats it.

2.6.7 and joomla 3.1.0. 1st i got trouble while signing in from front end and followed the rules said by mary above removed 3 files and now it is not updating from the front end.

When you say trouble did you get a 404 when you clicked on the Add new article, for example?

While creating an account from the front end it came 404 error later it was solved as per steps said by mary above now the datails were not updating after login from the front end.

Did you check if you are getting any errors when you click on Save to the updated user's profile?
