I think I must be missing something very obvious but I have installed the k2 component on a joomla site (previously 1.5 that has been migrated and upgraded to joomla 3.3.) When trying to assign a k2 content module to a webpage, the only main menu options in the menu manager main menu are from the previous joomla articles and categories from the joomla 1.5 website. I don't understand if I am supposed to create a K2 main menu option in the menu manager somehow? If not what am I doing wrong? The attached screenshot shows the available menus in the menu manager.

Hi, to display K-2 content in a menu, you must go thru the K-2 list in your add menu options and create a menu specifically for K-2. You can, however, add a K-2 content module and associate it with any menu you want and would do that thru extensions/ modules/ add New
