Hi there,

I am using K2 v2.6.8 and Joomla 2.5.24. After installing Joomla and K2, I also used the component "SP upgrade" to import K2 articles from the prior Joomla 1.5.
The display of the articles is perfect, the upgrade worked fine - but now I cannot create any new K2 item:

As you can see in the attached screenshot, there is this "Loading..." text, which doesn't get load. So I can add text in the editor below, but nothing happens when I try to save the newly created items.
Any idea what to do?

Check to see if an extrafield is required.

Got this message from another support team for the module BT content slider... this should explain what the main problem is.. but then I don't know how it can be fixed:

I found out reason of the problem. There is 2 reasons
1. File /classes/k2.php is not updated it is old file. I updated it manual.
2. Your k2 items' and k2 categories' "language" field is null, this field must be "*" or "all" or your specify language.
I have seen this problem before, it is a problem of K2 component.
I used access SQL component to update this field.
Now the module can get K2 items.
But you must check if new category and item's language Field. If it still empty, you must upgrade k2 or contact k2 support team to solve this problem.

Thank you Stef for sharing.

The language" field is null, this field must be "*" or "all" or your specify language applies to K2 users migrating from Joomla! 1.5 mostly.

So what can I do to fix that? I checked the DB manually, all existing K2 items + categories have a language field specified, the new ones probably don't and thus cannot be saved. Same holds true if I copy an existing article and try to open + save it - not possible.
It just shows:

Just try to clean browser's cache. This is a placeholder message and should get hidden. Also check your browser console for any errors.
