I am using Joomla 2.5.25 and K2 2.6.8. After upgrading from Joomla 1.5 using the component "SP upgrade" it is not possible to save new K2 items.
Existing ones can be edited.
The part "The following fields are required" are loading:

and nothing happens when clicking on "save". I posted this issue before, but somehow it got deleted when moving the site from getk2.org to joomlaworks i guess...

Any ideas on how to fix this? We really need to add new items of course..

Hello Stefanie,

I remember your post.
It was caused by a third party extension. You need to disable extensions (apart from major ones like JCE, Admin Tools etc) and see which is causing this issue.

well I carefully deactivated all of the installed plugins, modules and components, but that didnt change anything! It looks like there is a problem with the intro text field or so, as I have only one text field now?!
Any ideas on that?
I am using JCE editor (also tried standard editor + no editor at all) + checked all the settings there. Also in the content settings of Joomla Intro Text is activated.

Try reinstalling K2.
Do not unistall it, simply install it on top.

Still, after emptying the cache I cannot save K2 articles and the message does not dissapear.
