Hi,
1- I just updated with the latest v2.6.9 and noticed that after making CSS changes (social buttons), some items don't reflect the changes as other items do... Seems like ONLY one Category (Codigo Futbol) gets the changes... Neither its' child categories, nor any other Category gets them..

** Note: After the update, I was getting this message on a lot of my saved items when trying to edit them: "JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: xxx" (which is a no longer existent User ID...) This I resolved by re-entering the Author...

Thanks to anyone who may be able to help me sort this out...

Where did you make these changes?

Also are these categories using the same template?
They could be inheriting their settings from another category that uses a different K2 template.

Thanks for looking into this, Krikor..
* I made the changes in my custom.css...
* I have a Master Category (Notas -uses custom item template) and other categories inherit the settings...
The strange thing now is that even if I put the item under the Master Category (Notas) the css won't display as intended... So only 1 sub-category (Codigo Futbol) is actually displaying as instructed in my css...
* Even after deleting my custom css, the social icons displays differently in those categories..
With no effect, I've tried the non-changing categories with 'default' template (which inherits), and directly assigning my custom template...
* Even without a custom template, the behavior is the same, only one sub-category reflects correct css... (rest seem to be disconnected from css or corrupted)

PS - Question: After updating to 2.6.9, why is there a com_k2_v2 directory as well?

Some of the things I'm using: HWDMediashare v2, Akeeba Backup, JoomSport, LeoClock, NoNumber CacheCleaner, RokGallery..

Update:
After playing around with different options, I can pinpoint better the problem: One Category and a child category of it act differently than the rest..
* I use overrides but same behavior without them...

(Código Fútbol) imgur.com/VLhn4bu

(Código Fútbol - Concacaf).imgur.com/ooyRqjX

My Category scheme:

NOTAS (Master Category, the rest inherit from here)
-Código Fútbol (**displays different CSS)
--Código Fútbol -Concacaf (**displays different CSS)
---Código Fútbol -CRC
-xx (Rest of Categories)...
-xx

This has to do with your template's custom.css.
You have added styling directly to twitter's iframe (.twitter-share-button) which are inherited in some categories. In other categories where multiple twitter buttons exist, the classes are not the same. You need to differentiate these classes or add the styling directly on K2's div.itemTwitterButton element.

I don't really understand now.. Thought I had specified it in custom CSS...
I just removed all my social custom css and still the same issue...

UPDATE: OK, I think I found a piece of custom css I missed... I think that's the culprit... I'm double checking...

I can confirm that after finding the custom css culprit, I'm back in control of my custom K2 css...
Indeed it had to do with css specificity in different modules I have on the same page..
Thanks a lot Krikor for helping me with this...
