I've seen another discussion about this subject on this forum, but I don't understand half of it (I'm french).

Is there a simple solution to be able to use the "read more" link of JCE in the categoroes and items descriptions ?

I noticed that, in JCE, the icon to add a link "Read more" is not displayed below the editor for the categories descriptions. (it is there for the items, but no effect in frontend).

Now, worse : for all my category blogs, I have no more text or image. No problem when I display the items.

But, at all levels, "show" is selected for introtext and image in "Item view options in category listings".

I checked everything several times.

Another thing makes me think my K2 has a problem : When I select a text, the icon AA (Edit CSS) becomes clear, and inactive.

I can't finish my website with these problems.

This is not a K2 feature.

If the image was added in your editor then you need to add images from the K2 image tab.
If by using the read more button the K2 image is hiding, then the template you are using has a bug which it's dev should address.
