There are lots of sliders out there to display articles from a catgory or from an author. But what I want is to display a slider of authors. Does any one know of a slider that can display author details rather than articles?

The K2 Users module can be used to display authors and it can be overriden. With some basic coding skills you can override the module and turn it into a slider.
