I have a question - can K2 component optimize the size of uploaded images? I have a portal, I have a portal where users upload too large images that take up too much space. It's set in K2, or is there any other solution?

K2 will automatically resize your images so that a large image will not slow your site down. Keep in mind that PHP will never have the results of a script like pngcrush or jpegoptim. If it is disk size you are concerned you can delete the contents (not the index.html file) of the /media/k2/items/src folder.

It is really important to BACKUP first.
