I'm doing a joomla site for a travel agency. I use K2 items for their hotel offers. We have a lot of hotels and we would like to put these in different categories. For examples: hotels on the beach, hotels in the city, hotels outside the city and so on.

I would like to list these categories in a menu item (named for example "offers"). When the user clicks on "Offers" they will get all the categories listed and then will be able to choose the one he is interested in. When he clicks on the category it will display the items in the choosen category.

I couldn't find out the solution for doing this...What is the easiest way of doing this?

It is quite simple actually. You need to enable catalog mode in the Hotels main category and enable the subcategories view.

These options are located in the category's settings.
