Character encoding problem was created by jjames
Hi there!

Sorry if this problem already solved, but i haven't found the right topic yet. Also sorry for my english.
So the situation is, i started to use K2, so I imported the articles into K2. I Changed the the link in the menu and the K2 categories area was working fine. But after I clicked on a link as an article, I have got many special caracters what not supose to be like that. Even the menus and everything on the page goes wrong :(

So i was check in SQL table but there was the same source of article as before in joomla without caracter problem.

I am sure, there can be just a little thing what i didn't notice, so maybe you can help me guys. I cleared the cache folder also.

Many thanx for the help!

Hi,

Check the charset meta tag of your page. A link to the page with the issue would be very helpful.

I don't think that the meta description has anything to do with the encoding. By the way the link with the K2 item you provided works fine for me. No encoding issues.

You belive or not, that is the problem. As soon as i writing something to the description area the problem is disappear. I have to write something one by one to every items.
