I'm used to working in WP but recently a page landed in my lap based on 2.5 Joomla and 2.7.0. K2 that I have to take care of. Right now the permalinks are quite long and not nice at all and I've been looking for hours for an option to shorten them so I"m asking here if you could tell me where to do it or what (free) plugin to use - if any.

Would it be possible to shorten it somehow so it could look something like this?: www.unitedfilm.cz/articles/steadicam-at-work

You can use K2's advanced SEF.
These settings are located in K2's advanced params.

However the language code and the /unitedvision/ cannot be removed.
