Hi all,

I've read every post I can find about this on here and some other websites, but wasn't able to find a solution yet.

I installed K2 just to test and play around with the comment functionality. Unfortunately I can't get anything to work.

- I have the lastest version of Joomla installed.
- I have the JM-lifestyle template.
- I have tested it with the default joomla template.
- Comments are enabled for all users.
- The one user on the site, a superuser, has been added to a K2 group.
- I can see the module title, but nothing else.

I hope someone can help.

I have just tested k2 on another account and the comments don't work.
I also just created a new account at a new host with a new joomla install and the comments don't work there either. k2commentstest.cloudaccess.host/
I'm starting to wonder if it will ever work.
Is the comment module just broken?

Are there any K2 items in your site?
I cannot seem to find any.

Like I said it's a new install... so no.

Is there a requirement to make "items" in order to get the comment module to appear on a page?
If so I have not seen any documentation anywhere mentioning such requirements.

If one needs to make new items to get this module working would it not be wise to tell us that?

If there are no comments and no items, there is no data to display.
The module displays comments from K2's items so it is self-explanatory that if there are no comments, no data will be displayed.
