Mysterious disappearing items was created by Kelsey Brookes
This one has reared it's head again - this time on a site that's never had Mijoshop installed.

In Chrome OSX, 2.7.1 K2, Joomla 3.6.2 all items appear missing - except of course the site works and in Firefox all items are present.

Any ideas where we could look to track this down?

So let me get this right.
All items appear on the frontend.
On the administrator they all appear on FF but nothing on Chrome.

I would try resetting the filters and clearing Chrome's cache.

If nothing is displayed in the administrator, then the db might be locked and in need of repair.

I am having the same issue. Some items and categories are not visible using Chrome, but published in FireFox and IE. This is not a cache issue. The items are visible in the admin. This site does not have Mijoshop installed. I've repaired the database but some items just are not being published in Chrome. Does anyone know about this and have a fix?

Are you talking about the frontend (the missing items)?

Is it possible to have a link?

Also, are you using a CDN?

Thank you for the reply.

Yes, some items (in this case, "May Board Meeting 5/9/17 6:30pm") are not visible in the frontend, when looking at the page in Chrome. It is visible in FireFox, ie, and Safari: catchboynton.com/the-cra/meetings-agenda/itemlist/category/266-2017-agenda-and-minutes

The item is visible if its category is changed from "2017" to a different year. I've remade the 2017 category, and also the item, with the same results of it not being visible in Chrome browsers.

Both look the same, keep in mind that you are using a really outdated version of K2.
Which version of Joomla! are you using?

Furthermore links that should be only visible to logged-in users are appearing, are you using a CDN?

Thank you for checking! This is very strange. I'm attaching links to screenshots to demonstrate the issue. In Firefox/ie/Safari, the item is visible, but in Chrome, it is not.

The site is running J2.5.28 and I've just upgraded K2 to v2.7.1

I didn't build the site and am unfamiliar with CDNs. I don't see anything I'm unfamiliar with. The site is hosted at BlueHost, if that could be an issue.

Also, would you please let me know about the links that should only be visible to those logged on?

Thank you again!

Not a K2 issue at all, though I'm still tracking down the solution to what appears to be a cache issue. Adding the www prefix takes me to the updated page, in Chrome, although I've cleared the Chrome cache repeatedly.

Check to see if the System - Page Cache plugin is been enabled and disable it.

Thank you again for your assistance. The system cache plug-in wasn't enabled. Disabling Search Engine Friendly URLS has cleared up the issue.
