K2 page speed was created by Roman Lipatov
Hi!
I trying to understand what really slow down my site main page and found strange things.

Main page of my site does not have any K2 items or modules.

But when I checked site with webpagetest.org i found this file, which loads 0.7 second:

also I found 2 files which loads more than 0.7 seconds:

Why this files loads on main page, which not contains any K2 elements and why they loads so slow?

Thanks.

These are regularar js and css files.
Nothing special about them. nor they are too big.
Can you try enabling cache?

I use JotCache and native Joomla cache.
I just want to understand, why those files loads on main page, that not contains any K2 items and modules.
How I can disabled this files?

Hi Roman,

To remove un-needed CSS and JavaScript files use this plugin by good friend Viktor Vogel:
joomla-extensions.kubik-rubik.de/jcc-js-css-control

As for speed, you should use a CDN to deliver your static files (CSS, JS, and Images)

I personally use CDN for Joomla!
www.regularlabs.com/extensions/cdnforjoomla

And KeyCDN
www.keycdn.com/?a=13461

I hope this helps,

Joe Campbell
