Hi.
Just updated K2 from 2.6.9 to 2.7.1 on a couple of Joomla websites and I encountered the same problem with both of them: authors' images doesn't show up in articles anymore, instead I get a broken link icon.
Using Chrome browser's console, I can see that K2 is trying to retrieve the image file from http://i0.wp.com/localhost/MYWEBSITESNAME/templates/numodusversus/images/placeholder/user.png
How to fix that?

This is the gravatar image.
Once you push your site live or insert an avatar the image will work properly.
