Hello,
I have a menu item that selects items from two K2 categories.

I have the Item Ordering set to Ordering in the Layout options for multiple category selection section of the menu config.

When I view the page it does order the items, but it does not 'mix up' the items between the categories, and instead displays the first category items in order, then the second category in order.

How can I mix together the items from both categories and have them ordered?

You need to change the ordering to Featured ordering.
