I have been using SIG gallery for over a year now, and I cannot find any of the images in Google Images if I type in their file names. Can you please tell me if images are also indexed based on their file names, or only on the ALT text which we can add to the images?

I believe that they are indexed through the image's title and not the filename.

I noticed the same thing and i think that image filename is also considered by google images (most top result images have relevant keywords in their filename)... at least it should help.

In any case none of my SIG images are indexed either but I'm using the free version and I was wondering if the pro version was any different.

Also as a way around isn't it possible to install a sitemap generator extension?

Anybody has a better solution for this one?
