I used the shortcode {gallery}myphotos{/gallery} in a category of adsmanager and it doesnt work. The same shortcode works fine in articles. Is there a solution because I am thinking of buying the pro, but for me is very important to intergrate gallerys in a all of my categories.

Hi. This has to do with the extension you are using. The extension should support content plugins to make it work. Check the extension settings for any relevant options or ask the developers of this extension for help.
