Hi there,

I am using Joomla 2.5 with Simple Image Gallery pro 3.0.

If one opens a page on my website which contains photos in a SIG gallery, loading time takes ages which sometimes time out errors at the end.
Reason in my eyes...the page is preloading all of the images.

Is there a setting in SIG pro 3 where i can decide if photos need to be preloaded or not?

Hi,

There is no pre-loading of images. It is just resizing the images to generate the thumbnails. Try to:

1. Set the thumbnail expiration time to a logical value ( not zero ).
2. Enable Joomla! caching.
3. Use smaller number of images per gallery.
