Hi,

I have read many posts about this and nothing seems to work.

I am seeing that the thumbnails are being created in the cache/jw_sig folder.

See the page here 181.224.137.127/~apexsale/index.php/2015-10-12-13-54-12/about

I am using SIG ver 3.0.1 on Joomla 3.3.6

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi,

I don't see Simple Image Gallery in the link you provided. I see a different extension used there.

Have you modified the template of the gallery? The image tags are missing from the markup. If you didn't modify the template of the gallery then probably a plugin is stripping the images. Check the enabled third-party plugins and try to disable them one by one until you find which one is causing that.

The template of the gallery didn't modified manually. Some of plugin had been disabled but the issue still be here.

Is it relate to folder 755 or 777 on cache folder ? Need add photo again for testing ?

Please help

Disable all the third-party plugins. It's probably a plugin causing this. Look for any image related plugins like lazy loading etc.

It's either a plugin or your template. The images tags are missing from the generated output.

Hello everybody,

I have the same problems: The thumbnails are black rectangles, but the pictures are shown, if you click on the rectangles.

Mysterious is, that on our site are articles where the thumbnails are shown properly, whereas in the latest article there are only the black rectangles. Following the advice I disabled all plugins dealing with images.

Please ave a look:

no thumbnails: www.von-suttner-igs.de
with thumbnails: www.von-suttner-igs.de/index.php?start=7

I can see some illegal characters in the filenames.

Example:
www.von-suttner-igs.de/cache/jw_sig/jw_sig_cache_ddbe28ef92_2017saubererwald(2).jpg

Can you try losing the opening and closing parenthesis () ?
