I have recently updated to to 3.4.8 and successfully installed and activated the Simple Image Gallery Free plugin however after following the readme guide and entering the following code {gallery} images/Events {/gallery} within one of my article pages no images are appearing.

I've checked and made sure the cache folder is writable and the gd PHP is enabled but all that's appearing in the article is the line of code, I'm totally new to Joomla but thought this was relatively good thing to start using.

You have to use the relative path to the gallery under the galleries root folder as described at the documentation page at www.joomlaworks.net/support/docs/simple-image-gallery .

Try to change the path and let me know if you need more help.
