Hi - i installed the plugin and added the gallery folder and referenced in following page, however i get no grid or lightbox effect - i click on image it opens in separate browser tab (is this because i am using the free version?)

The select2 library is throwing an error.
This is most likely related to the multiple instances of jQuery being loaded.
You can correct this with an extension called jQuery Easy.

Finally for some reason both the scripts and the stylesheets of the plugin are not being loaded. This is causing the message to be visible.

Is this issue present throughout the site or in this component only?

Hi Krikor and thanks for the support. I installed Jquery Easy, enabled it and switched on Jquery+UI under Basic Site Options.
However there was no difference - is there another setting i should be looking for.
Regarding the style sheets/plugin not being loaded, indeed i have had this problem with other components usually due to the template i am using blocking them, i considering calling them explicitly from the template - that usually fixes it. I will take a look at that.
BTW, however we able to identify the plugins/stylesheets were not being loaded?

This is a template issue indeed.
With the default template, all styles and scripts are being loaded properly.

In the template you are using, there are several more JS issues.
I strongly suggest that you refer this issue to the template's developer.
