Hi!

Your module is great and I really like the design (which weren't that great for the others rss reader I've tried so far)!

However, I have this warning just above my article:
Warning JFile: :read: Unable to open file:
and this warning just above the rss feedreader module:
Warning: fopen(): Filename cannot be empty in libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 327

Any idea what is causing this and how can it be solve?

Thanks a lot for your help!

I foudn the solution there: www.joomlaworks.net/forum/simple-rss-feed-reader/14122-jfile-read-unable-to-open-file#53643

I had a line break inside the module in field "Enter RSS feeds to fetch (one feed per line)".

You must not have an empty line between feed names.
Every feed must be on a separate line but there mustn't be an empty line between them.

Hello Hans,

Could you paste your feed urls here so I can check them?

@hans
Hi. Just tested and everything works fine for me i get 8 items. Ensure that you have entered the feed URLs correctly ( including http in their beginning ) . You can also try to clean Joomla! cache.

Thanks,

the total numbers of items is ok but it seems that the maximum items to fetch per feet. I put that on 2 items, but from some sites there are moe items to fill the 8 or what number put in the total.

Because i want to put the feed in an module position i do not want to have to much of it , because it then destruct the rest of the site. Now it is in the sideline that is less an problem

Thansk for taking your time
I appereciate that much
