Can I please get a solution for this issue? What are the mistakes other users are making, I might be doing the same thing. I cannot send you a link to my site as it's an intranet. I have read though many of the forum posts and the documentation for hours now, but cannot find a solution to this.

I've uploaded a wmv video file to images/videos/fairytales. then used the code {wmv}fairytales/sleepingbeauty{/wmv}.
The default folder is images/videos.

All I get on my site is the video box with the circle endlessly loading the video.

Does AllVideos work fine with another video format?

I am afraid that I need a link to your video page.

I've now tried avi (no plugin found), mp4 (video format not supported), and flv (video not found or access denied). the errors seem to be non stop.

Sorry but I cannot send a link, as I stated before i'm running joomla as an intranet from a local server, it's not set up on a domain, can all videos work with local files?

Okay got it working!!! The path to the local file was different to the default "images" folder. Changed the default and all works perfect.  :D

I cannot get the plugin to work in a module.  It works fine when used in an article.

Do plugins just not work in modules?

You have to enable the prepare content settings (Module params).

Hello everyone,

I thought I would share my solution that worked for me. I am using Joomla 3.2.1 so this may or may not work for you but it's worth a try since nobody seems to want to share solutions in here and just asks for admin access all the time?

I was having the same issue with installing the plugin properly, enabling it and then tried adding the short code to both an article and a module but would only see the short code on the front end (example {vimeo}12345678{/vimeo} ) is all that would render on the page.

After poking around I realized I had enabled the "System - Cache" plugin recently under the plugin manager. As soon as I disabled it the video started showing.

Seems to me this is something joomlaworks might want to look into perhaps? Considering tit seems to be a system plugin that is conflicting with AllVideos.

At the very least maybe this solution will work for some or all of you!
