william white created the topic: Redirect to specific page after a comment is made
I am looking to redirect the user to a specific page after clicking submit a new comment.
Would like to clear the message, name, and email address from the form, and then redirect back to a specific K2 item or j article that will explain the comment approval process
I have tried a few things including adding the following into models/item.php

echo '<meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="1;URL=http://www.google.com">';
and
header("Location: google.com/ ");
but neither seems to work.

Is there a better Place and or Way to accomplish this? I wold much prefer to work in an output override of some sort instead of changing the core.

I have also looked at this community.joomla.org/blogs/community/521-did-you-know-overrides-are-not-just-for-html.html but it would still require the same rewriting after upgrade when models/item.php changes in the core
