Hi all,

I thought this one would be easy to solve, but.......

I have two rows of top-level categories in K2, with five categories on the first row and four on the second. Each category container has title and image. There is an excessive vertical gap between the two rows. I cannot seem to find the CSS style which is controlling this. I have inspected the page element in Chrome but cannot find it. I am using a template called Favourite from FavThemes. I've played around with k2.css but found nothing, and if control of the vertical spacing between category rows is in the template's css then I cannot find it.

Can anybody give me any ideas? I'm sure, at some point, somebody's had the need to change the vertical spacing between K2 category rows, or might know how it's done.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Many thanks!

Andy.

Hi Krikor,

Not possible I'm afraid, as the site is running locally on a PC as a web server (Xampp). Anything else I can do?

Thanks!

Andy.

Hmmm....having problems attaching an image file to my post. Below the editor is a text box labelled "Attachments" with a button to the right of the text box labelled "Add File". I am clicking that button yet nothing is happening. Please can you advise? Many thanks....I'm new to this forum so may not know how things work here.

If the attachment is too large, it won't be posted.
You use imgur.com to share images as well.

Thanks for your reply. It's not that the screenshot is too big: it's that the "Add File" button, when clicked, does nothing. I've tried this in Chrome and Edge with the same result.

No matter. Here's the Imgur link for the screenshot. I am very grateful for any help you could give me to decrease the vertical spacing between the category rows, as annotated.

Many, many thanks!

Andy

I have finally solved this - I found the class in k2.css which affected it.

Many thanks!
