K2 and Joomla 4 > was created by Electronic Beatz Network
You fob us off with glib excuses for over a year, nothing happend on Github for over two months.
And instead of giving us any reliable and usefull information you closed the original-thread? Because people try to help each other mooving from K2???

Really?

That was the worst support I ever experienced.

At least now everyone should be thinking about say goodby to K2.

Exactly! One year of being jerked about with false promises.

I think everybody can see where they stand now!

Let's not kid ourselves. Joomla! 4 has been out - and stable - for several months. K2 is a dead project, and all they're doing is posting avbout how bad J!4 is instead of working on an update. If J4 is so horrible, why not just move to WordPress and get on with it?

I read your suggested article:
boyter.org/posts/the-three-f-s-of-open-source/

I think we have done #1
"If you find a bug, notice missing, incorrect or misleading documentation, or want an enhancement, your first option is to make a request to fix it. "

I think we have talked about and considered #2
"If the maintainer refuses to make your change, then you have the option to fork the project"

So we are at #3
"The last option is to frankly bugger off."

I find this very offensive. Since you have basically told all of us to F off, I will. I will not be back. Thank you for clarifying your position.

Hello
It seems that you are developing k2 for old versions as well
But version 2.5 and 1.5 are no longer supported by the Joomla community
Maybe if you focus on these two versions, development and changes will be easier
Of course, you are the one to decide
thank you

I am in the tribe.

We still have one year but some news will be great.

Our 4 company websites are totally depending on K2. We cannot move to native Joomla articles. Too complicated. Our websites architectures are based on K2.

not really. is this your answer for everyone waiting for information about the update? I have used K2 for years. In total I've used it on over 20 different websites. honestly man this is such a patient community here but telling them to f*** off is too much... i'm out... bye...
