Microdata in K2 was created by Roman Lipatov
I want to ask K2 developers - are you going to include microdata to k2 templates?
Now the 21st century - and microdata is required attribute...
Thanks.

I think (personal opinion here) Microdata should be implemented on per template basis. The reason why:
Since different microdata is being used for buildings, events, blog items and dozens of other cases it would be impossible to find a one size fits all solution.
Since K2 can be used for quite a lot of purposes I really think that the microdata should be manually implemented in your template instead of the stock K2 item.
Once again this is my personal opinion. You can raise this question on v3's github repo github.com/joomlaworks/k2-v3-dev-build to see if other users want this feature as well and to evaluate this feature as well.

What can help is an plugin which append your needed Microdata in *.php-Files (what i havent looked for cause i want to learn Microdata).

Hello Franz :) Glad to see you again.
Summer mood does not mean that we vanish from the face of the earth, it simply means that we are moving on a slower pace.
PS. I already got my tan :P

Yeah, you're damn right...
Of course, I was referring to the classic blog entries and articles.
Sorry about that.

Hi Joseph,
thanks for the Link. I have downloaded J-Core-Overrides for free to take a Look, how it works.
Have you Experience with Core- or k2-Overrides for Microdata from there?
Regards

Hello Franz,
I actually figured it out on my own. I was time consuming, as I am not a true coder. But with trial and error I have thing how I want it.
My site is very custom, so I had no other choice.
Use the Google Structured Data Testing Tool to ensure your code works:

Hi Joseph,
i've also figured it out but havent applied because of eventuelle change Template.
So you haven't Experience on that specific Homepage www.microdataforjoomla.com? Have tested it on Weblinks-Override and Google Structured Data Testing Tool gave me Errors. So maybe bad Luck and other Overrides works. So thats the Reason for my Question, if you have Knowledge about Quality on Overrides.
