My guess is the jQuery's CDN powered by Stackpath has issues currently in Latin America and perhaps other parts of the world. North America & Europe seem unaffected.

In any case, you can upgrade to K2 v2.10.4 (dev) - from getk2.org/downloads/?f=K2_Development_Release.zip - in which I have swapped all CDN references to CloudFlare's cdn.js which has historically proved far more reliable, but until some years ago it was blocked in China. That's not the case anymore so K2 will use cdn.js from now on.

Call to undefined method K2HelperUtilities::characterLimit2()

As you can see in github.com/getk2/k2/search?q=characterLimit2 there is no such function in K2.

Your site most likely had a modified K2 version and any changes done in K2's core files were lost when you upgraded to K2 latest.

Search for "characterLimit2" inside your template's html/com_k2/ files and if you don't find anything, then look in /modules and then /plugins. When you find it, replace "characterLimit2" with "characterLimit" and your site's pages will be restored.

When you upgrade to from 2.7.x to 2.10.x, there are DB changes.

If I recall correctly, the best upgrade path is 2.7.x to 2.9.x and then 2.10.x.

Yes, I upgraded Joomla to v3.9., 21 before, after I saw that the site and the admin were perfect there, lastly I updated the k2 to the latest version.

My Excuses, I don't understand what you're talking about in the Browser?

In addition to deleting all caches on the site, I also deleted all browsers' caches, by testing the same on Chrome, Firefox and Edge and all the errors are the same

IMPORTANT: What about the question of whether I install manually, does it work?
Are the databases the same?

If you also upgraded Joomla, you may simply need to do a hard refresh on your browser for new CSS/JS code to trigger.

Joomla 3.9.21 with PHP 7.3
Chmod 755 folders and chmod 644 files
Collation of the site esta: UTF-8
I have no mistake on the perfect website.

I have a website that had k2 v2.71 working perfectly and today I tried to upgrade to k2 v2.10.3 and the screen gives the error, it seems to have been all in html (see attached screen)

I ended up restoring the site Backup to go back and it's ok.

I have other sites on the same server and updated normal

One question, if I change folders manually from version 2.71 to k2 version 2.10.3 will it work?

Does the latest version have a change in the database or is it the same as version 2.71?

Any idea what I can do, because when I install this new version everything is basic html as in the image

I appreciate some help

I use mp4 for video and m4a for sound in attached file..
And more, until upgrade k2, we use m4a without any problem

Save & Close item in back-end. Error 403 You are not authorized to view...

Joomla! 3.9.21 Stable [ Amani ] 25-August-2020
K2 v2.10.3
PHP Version 7.4.9 (upgraded from 7.3.x which also had the issue)

In the back-end, when I Save and Close for an item, I get the error message 403 You are not authorized to view this resource.

When I merely Save the item, it all works fine. I know I can then Cancel to get back to the list of items but I need to resolve this issue for a client.

I am using a couple of K2 template overrides but I've turned them off the error persists.

I am also using Helix Ultimate template but similarly, having defaulted back to Protostar template and the error persists.

I am logged in as Super Admin and the client is logged in as Admin.

I have the latest version of Admin Tools installed and have ran the Fix Permissions tool and Reapis and Optimise Tables (for good measure).

None of these things have made a difference.

Anything else I should be trying/checking?

I just followed your advice and upgraded to K2 VERSION 2.10.3 on both sites.
This problem really corrected on both sites, now this is ok.

1 NEW PROBLEM: Only one of them has a problem with the Image part of not finding the Image Database that you have on the site, the Image button / search server
It seems that the link searches for images on the server is not finding the images.
Do you have any idea what I can do?

As for my region it is Brazil and there is a difference of only 3 hours, but the problem that was in the country is the difference of 4 hours as I said.

I look forward to a FeedBack on this image link?

Time Issues for Publishing Article via comp k2

Use Joomla 3.9.21 with PHP 7.3 and k2 component V 2.9
I have 2 sites on the same server that I updated today for Joomla 3.9.21, I'm from Brazil

First I upgraded to Joomla 3.9.20 and noticed that this was the case, then I decided to upgrade to 3.9.21 and the exact same problem occurred below

When trying to publish articles via e-mail, I have to set the time for four (4) hours before (that is, if I post at 5 pm I have to post the article at 1 pm to publish immediately) to be aired immediately otherwise it will not go on air .
It seems like an exclusive team problem only with the

I tested publishing the articles via the Joomla Editor v3.9.21, then there is no problem, the article goes live immediately.

More details to see if it helps:
- The server has the right time
- The configuration of Joomla, Global / Server is correct, this is like "Sao Paulo" (Brazil South America) which is my region.
- In the Editor of k2 when opening in New to post a new article the date that appears is correct, exactly with the time of the moment. But when saving the article it doesn't go on the air, the article is saved, but it doesn't go on the air, only if I go back in the article and go back to the schedule for four (4) hours ago.

Does anyone know why this occurs with the k2 component?

Disable any 3rd party plugins that interact or extend K2 and check again.

Some extension is probably outdated and it may have coincided with a PHP upgrade or something...

Thank you, yes, i noticed that. But it was woking fine until we upgrade.

Any suggestion what we should check? We havent installed anything new but K2 upgrade.

after k2 upgrade to 2.10.3 pages and k2 modules often not updating for days until clear browser cache (mostly chrome)
sometimes while it works properly it suddenly displays content from 3-4 days ago
random if hit refresh on browser button displays newest k2 articles but if after click on homepage link displays older content
