I would like to write a module which does following.

1. will work given category contents
2. display clean introtext or both fulltext (text lenght may given in parameter, for example first 150 char. etc..)
3. display 1st video in the content.
4. video width & height will given in module parameter

my question is : how should I do this? any idea?

I tried it, but can't separate the clean content text and video code.
