Hello,
I have installed Allvideos to be able to play an mp4 video from the server. It is specific, not really adequate for Youtube or other providers.
The video plays smoothly in Opera, only sound in Chrome and error message (as described by Klaus in a similar post "Error loading media: file could not be played") in Firefox and IE.
I tried Klaus's solution (converted the mp4 file to mkv) but no luck.

Mkv can't be steamed, the optimal format would be mp4 with the h264 encoding.
