I've read other threads/posts and they don't answer my question. The IT guy I had is now unavailable, so until I can find someone reputable, I'm trying to figure it out myself. I know my site backwards and forwards EXCEPT for installing any extensions/plugins/etc.
I'm trying to install, and one post says to go to extensions/install & uninstall. I don't have that in my menu. Nothing that says extensions. I have installers -- components, modules, mambots. When I choose any of these and try to upload the zip file (not extracted) it gives me an error message: ERROR: Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.
Please, I'm DESPERATE, what am I doing wrong? Can anyone help me? TIA!
