This component works great ... but is it possible to eliminate the "hover" bounding box in IE6?

I am playing a swf file and in IE6 when you hover over the player, a bounding box appears and a pop-up says "click to activate and use this control". When you click once, the box goes away. The problem is that this bounding box appears on top of any dropdown menus that extend into the player space, and looks rather bad. (I checked and the z-order of the drop down menus is set very high).

Any help is most appreciated.
