Okay I'm probably a moron but I've searched long and hard for the simple instructions to add introtext.

I'm guessing this is done in the Joomla article where the player is added using the following:

{mp3}my_file{/mp3}

So what is the additional code to add "introtext"

If there is a link to documentation for both AllVideos and Ultimate Content Display, I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction. All I've found is www.joomlaworks.net/content/category/2/20/41/  and there is very little there.

There are very good instructions inside AllVideos plugin and UCD. Read carefully after install them on Joomla backend.

About AllVideos now: You must enable plugin and after that go to the article -or create a new one- you want and write inside the text area the text you want for introtext and below that something like this:
{mp3}my_file{/mp3}
according to what type of video you want to insert. After that enable article and voila...
