We have just released a minor update (v3.1) of DISQUS Comments for Joomla!.

This updated release fixes a bug in the comments counter when Joomla!'s cache is on. You are advised to upgrade ASAP. Since v3.1, DISQUS Comments for Joomla! is no longer "just" a plugin, but a package of a container component and 2 distinct modules.

This new release is fully compatible with Joomla! 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7. It features updated code for better integration with Disqus, while solving bugs like the "wrong counter" as reported by many users. This new version is also slightly faster compared to the older ones.

UPGRADING
Just upload the new version and it will overwrite the old one. Open the content plugin's parameters page, check if everything is OK and save the parameters.

The next version will feature one of the following:
- A module to display latest and/or most popular comments and top commenters (it's an integration with the DISQUS widgets)
- Merging of the standalone plugin for DISQUS Comments in K2 into this extension. This will allow us to more easily maintain the extension and further expand its features in the future.
