J1.7 Admin Component "404 - An error has occurred. Component Not Found"

J1.7 Admin Component "404 - An error has occurred. Component Not Found" was created by choff

I have no access to the JW_Disqus component from the control panel. The link is there. The package installed correctly (installer). The component and both plugins are activated. I re-installed the package and same error. Any ideas??

SAME thing here! Frontend component seems to work fine, but from the Administrator menu I get the same message! :'(

Ops! I really can't, too much sensitive data stored for my clients... :-[

@choff and chesterfield,
The Disqus component shouldn't be visible -now we have unpublished it cause you don't need and you shouldn't have access to it.
We are checking Disqus to see if this weird behaviour is generic... So your issue is solved.

I am getting the same error for my joomla 1.7 site.. how did you resolve this issue?

If you unpublished the component, how do we use the disqus commuting in our articles?
