What if I didn't uninstall v. 2+ first? was created by bob_sprague

I was trying to upgrade to the latest version of Frontpage Slideshow, and I did not uninstall the older version first. Totally my error. What is the best way to correct this?

Should I go into phpMyAdmin and remove all fpss entries and then make a fresh install?

Thanks for any advice.

Hi. You can remove the Frontpage Slideshow completely and then remove it's tables using phpmyadmin. After that install again. Remember to get a backup of your data first.

Hi. You can remove the Frontpage Slideshow completely and then remove its tables using phpmyadmin. After that install again. Remember to get a backup of your data first.
