Auto-Populate from K2 Categories

I love FPSS, but I want it to be able to auto populate from K2 categories, without my having to specify particular images. Can FPSS do this? I want it to choose from most of the categories, and play the latest posted image from the selected categories. I don't want to have to do an extra step to put the select the images.

For example, Ytc K2 slideshow does this, but their slideshow is frankly not as nice as FPSS.
