Calender Setup was created by Jasper Newton
Dear all
I apologise if this is in the wrong forum, but I cannot see any other option.
Having moved my 1.5.23 joomla k2 2.4.1 site to a Joomla 1.7.2 K2 2.5 site manually (Jupgrade did not work) I am now experiencing a problem when creating a new user in k2 user module;
When I click "create new account" I get a message which says;
Calendar.setup:
Nothing to setup (no fields found). Please check your code
I have not got a clue what this could be to do with. Many different forums give different suggestions;
Cache, JCE editor, templating issue.
My Cache is set to ON (progresive) MY JCE version is 2.0.3 with k2 advanced link plugin installed and my template is an Artisteer template.
I have upgraded 3 other sites in exactly the same way and used exactly the same plugins, set ups and parameters aswell as templates for all four sites. NONE have this issue except the this site to which I refer.
I would be grateful if anybody is aware of a solution to this issue to throw some ideas at me.
Thanks in advance
Jasper

You may have run into an error that seems to be template or component specific and has been cropping up for some time. I find several references to the problem. I bet its a template issue

Just as an update to save the Question being asked, I have tried the following;
Deleted JCE editor and all plugins. Set Editor as TinyMCE and cleared cache and purged expired cache. Re checked ALL settings (all plugins,modules,components) with a site I Know to work and does not have this issue.
Still the error shows. Having read several forums (Joomla and K2) it appears this has been an issue since at least Joomla 1,5 and or ealier versions of JCE editor or K2.
So any new ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks for the advice
I had just posted a brief update prior to seeing your response
I will give the template thing a whiirl and update soon. I will try a template that works a Control template I guess.

Ok I have now uploaded a template which I know to work on exactly the same setup but on a different site. The issue remains. I have attempted to delete and recreate the k2 login module. issue remains. It is also appearing on the "forgot password" and "forgot username" links in the module. The issue also appears in the Joomla Login module.
So After reading the various forums, I can, I think rule out JCE, Template or the Cache as being the issue
Is anybody able to tell me exactly what this Calender.setup is? what is its functionm is it needed?
Thanks again
Jasper

Can nobody even tell me what this thing does? what is it to do with or even why its is even an issue?
Id be grateful for any thoughts as this is rendering my site useless at the moment.
