Hello, is it possible to export extra fields? I bought your tool yesterday and can do the import without problem, but when I export the extra fields columns are present, but the data is missing? Am I missing something?

Thanks in Advance for your help!

Paula

Hi Paula,

Yes the export of the extra fields should work. What version do you use? Please try the 0.7 RC3 version. If it does not work please send me a joomla admin user : www.individual-it.net/en/kontakt-impressum.html

I am having problems importing more than one attachment. There is a link to "add more" on the form but it will not add any more boxes.

Any ideas?

Hi Tom,

please tell us the version of the K2 import tool you use and your browser.

To try an other browser is always a good idea. I usually use Firefox.

Has anyone imported from WordPress before? I am really unsure how to export/edit the CSV file in the correct format for this tool.

Can anyone help me out here?

I'm planning on replacing an entire catalogue section of our site with the use of k2 and this component. Once i've uploaded all of the products/items, if i want to update them will it overwrite the entire product of can i just upload certain custom fields like price?

The extension has an update - function.

So you can export your items into a CSV with the extension, change or add fields and import the file again with the overwrite function. So at the end you will have a new updated list.
