How can i disable auto publish article in K2? I already set "publish" to NO in user groups but this did not work.

Check both Joomla and K2 user group
Tested in J2.5.9 and k2 2.6.2
if a user is joomla-registared and
K2 - registared
K2 registard group does not have publish rights
User adds item from front end
Item is not published, but is saved

Yes, that i know... but what about backend? There users can add items already published, but not other way. Don't know, if that supposed to be like that? I like to have possibility to turn that off.

Currently im using K2 v2.6.5 and Joomla v2.5.7.

Same problem! My joomla users in the backend are able to publish k2 items although they do not have permission as K2 users. :blink:

I have joomla users in the backend that are editors. I want this editors to create items in k2 but not being able to publish.
So I create a K2 group and set not publish items or comments. Now all the users in k2 that I want not to publish are in this group.... but it does not work. I tested by being one of them, and from the backend I may create, publish, poublish comments, no matter in which group I´m in...

Are this settings only valid for frontend users?? how can i solve this? :unsure:
