When will "User Extra Fields" K2 plugin for Joomla 3 that customizes/adds extra fields to user profile be released?

According to the official Joomla extension page, there's only 2.5 available.

I have not tested it yet, but I think thid small modification can make it work on J3:

Just edit the xml filem and replace params with fields, and replace param with field.

I've modified the xml file quickly to install on J3, the modified version is attached to this post

Btw, can you customize or control how much information and which information you wish to include in the user's profile?

For instance, I want to set the registered user's profile's Country as a requirement. I also want to disable their address from the profile.

Everything seems to work fine on 3.1.5 site

I was able to install your modified package on a Joomla 3.2 site.

I get this error when the plugin is enabled.
