Images in the article wont show was created by marecekloool
Hi all
I have been using
I am using joomla 2.5.9 with K2 version 2.6.6
I have these seo settings:
SEF URLs ON
use URL rewriting ON
add suffix ON
UNICODE aliases OFF
I am using K2 for my articles. I insert some images directly in the text with help of the WYSIWYG editor and they dont show if I go to the article from an external link.
you can try it here kocko.sk/sutaze-v-bojovych-sportoch/64-gala-night-thaiboxing-2013-zilina.html
It seems that the image itself has a bad link generated to itself. I have them stored in /images/k2/galazilina2013/DSC_0203.jpg for example and thats how they usually work, but when I for example visit the article from Facebook link on my facebook or any other external link I get a imageless K2 article and when you check the image urls you have the article category generated in front of the like this kocko.sk/sutaze-v-bojovych-sportoch/images/k2/galazilina2013/DSC_0203.jpg <- this is the actual image url, which is ofcourse bad.
I did a test and I COPY-PASTEd the content of the article into a joomla article everything shows up as it should you can see the article here kocko.sk/faq.html
So I am assuming I have something wrong with my K2 settings.
Can someone please help me solve this?
Much appreciated

Hello marecekloool,
Which editor are you using? Any other plugins or extensions?
I have noticed that inside your J! articles your image URL is different (it's images instead of /images).
Btw. the first link you provided is bad, it produces a 404 error.

I checked your URL again and I noticed that this time images do not show up at all.
Adding a query string at the end of your url got me a newer version of your site which images were indeed visible.
I can see you fixed your issue but you are still seeing cached content. Try clearing your cache (both browser + Joomla!).
Please be kind enough and post here what caused this issue.

Hello David,
The image URL you sent us are from the phocagallery extension. I think there might be something with your Joomla! setup or caching. Try browsing the site with cache disabled and see what happens then.
Just to be sure that it is not a template issue you can always check your site with the atomic or system template using the ?template=system querystring.
Finally you can also contact your hosting provider to see if there are any server related issues.
