I was having problems with the publish/finish dates and was told I could try the Dev Build.
After installing this, I can't save an item, it says some extra fields are missing entries, but they are filled out.

Any clues?

Hi. Are you talking about the K2 2.x development build or the K2v3 development build? In any case if you are using the K2 2.x you should use the stable version.

It was a member of your staff that suggested the dev version...
The 2.6.8. doesn't save Finish Publishing date with time?

Yes, i just asked for clarification. I suggest to install K2 2.6.8 and then just apply this patch github.com/joomlaworks/k2/commit/9b4c27b60034bc80def73a0c28cd4a15bf81cd38 . K2 2.6.9 will come out soon including this patch.

I already tried the patch with no luck - the date/time disappears after sae & close.
Guess I'll wait for 2.6.9 :-)

The patch is verified that it works from other users, so ensure that the changes are made correctly. But you can also wait as you wrote, it's up to you.
