When my users are adding content to the site, when they click on the "Image" tab at the bottom of the editor to upload an image or locate it on the server, nothing happens.

In fact NONE of the tabs work at the bottom of the add content editor. I have tried using, IE, Mozilla, and Chrome, none work. I click them and no dialog box or anything happens.

Screenshot looks not like k2-Items (i.e. Pagebreak). k2-Tabs are on Top of Editor named like "Content", "Image" … "Attachments" - please look imgur.com/dLW6aAP

This is most likely related to a JS error. It is also most likely a template issue and unrelated to K2.

Open your browser's developer tools and check under the console tab for any potential JS errors.

You are using an outdated version of K2. Please update to its latest version.

PS. Backup before updating just to be 100% sure.

Maybe it's not k2 or joomla
try look in global configuratioon if you are using something different than TinyMCE or non WYSWIG
Look in your template manager too and look in your plugin manager beacause it looks something added to joomla, i don"t have 'gallery'

Is the JS error still there?
If yes can you send me some demo credentials (the user should not be able to publish items).

To login:
Scroll to the bottom of the home page, lower right hand corner and click on contributer login

Username: demo
Password: password

To submit content:
After logging in scroll back to the bottom and click Submit Content (lower right hand corner


If you look at the page source code you can see these tabs that do not work, they are listed under SimpleTabsContent on line 366

I have uninstalled Simple Image Gallery Pro trying to see if that was the problem, but it still doesnt work.

You will notice the only tab (on the bottom of the editor) that works is the Read More and the toggle editor. The close button does not work neither.

Obviously a JS error

HOWEVER, the editor on the backend works and so do the tabs at the bottom

The URL is the same as the screenshot?

I get a "Sorry, user id not found." error.
