I recently enabled recaptcha for K2 and it always returns that the answer was incorrect. I turned off recaptcha, but now the registration form, even though the captcha is gone, always returns an error that the solution cannot be blank. If I disable the recaptcha plugin in joomla, the registration page turns up an error that the plugin is not enabled. There is no way that I can now register on my site.

Is there a way to fix this?

Funcaptcha are not supported out of the box, but we would be happy to post a plugin.

@William it seems that both Joomla!'s and K2's captchas are enabled. You can only use one of them. In this forum there are multiple posts on how to properly captch on your site.

Actually, no reCaptcha is enabled now. I disabled them all. The problem is that having them both enabled just once has caused a bug where, even with them disabled, when trying to register you get the message "solution cannot be blank." There is no captcha,on the register page, but it is still trying to validate.

Also, although I do not have reCaptcha enabled in global settings for joomla or K2, i cannot disable the plugin or I get the message "plugin disabled."

The point is that having tried to enable both has caused a situation where I cannot disable them. Now nobody can register on the site.

I have tried it both ways. If I disable the plugin, I get the message "plugin disabled." If I enable the plugin but turn it off under global configuration, I get the message "solution cannot be blank."

I even removed the plugin from joomla a couple times from the extension manager to see if that would work.
